On Saturday, June 13, 2009, Positive Choices held their 7th annual football camp hosted by San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis at Dunbar Senior High School in Washington, DC. Since 2002, Positive Choices has offered a one-day, free football camp to the youth of the Washington metropolitan area. Positive Choices CEO Aazaar Abdul-Rahim used his NFL connections to reach out to current and past players to assist with the camp and, year after year, many answer the call.

"I travel to many camps throughout the country," said camp veteran and former DB New England Patriots Chad Scott. "Positive Choices is the camp that means the most to me because it's home."

This year the camp mentored over 350 youth from different economic and cultural backgrounds and for nine hours the only noticeable difference was offense and defense.
