Robert E. Person has been moving non-stop since his CD release last month. The gospel crooner, known for his song, "God Has a Plan," has been supporting his latest CD, "Soul Sanctuary." The artist has been visiting radio stations in North and South Carolina and conducting interviews nationwide. Radio stations have been embracing the ministry of the gifted singer and his music is being heard all over the country.
The dynamic collection of inspired songs, including a memorable remake of Donny Hathaway's classic, "Someday We'll All Be Free," and a stunning rendition of the church favorite, "Great Is Thy Faithfulness", is the third project from the solo artist. He will perform at Lift Every Voice...A Presentation of Performances Dedicated to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. for the Martin Luther King Dedication Week Activities in Washington, D.C on Thursday, at 5:30 p.m. at the Washington DC Convention Center (801 Mount Vernon Place, NW, Washington, DC 20001 - 202.508.1045) on The Partners in the Dream Community Stage in Exhibit Hall A. The event is part of the dedication of the memorial of Dr. King in the Nation's Capital.
In addition, Person will be the featured soloist at the 11 a.m. church service at Holy Comforter-St. Cyprian in Washington and he will be the guest artist for the Spirit of Washington Cruise setting sail at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 27.
