On September 29, 2016

Brewing beer has become a favorite hobby of many people. The Germantown branch of Montgomery County Public Libraries will host a “Brew Making at Home” program Saturday, October 17 from 2 to 4 p.m. to introduce the brewing process and demonstrate the equipment and ingredients needed to create a home brewed beer.

There will be light refreshments – but no beer – available for attendees.

This Adult Makerspace program is presented by Dave Farb, a retired biochemist, who has been brewing his own beer for several years using kits and also creating his own kits from scratch.

Register online or call 240.777.0110 for more information. Registration is limited to people who are 21 years of age and older.

To request a sign language interpreter or other deaf/hard of hearing services for library-sponsored programs, email, preferably with three business days’ notice. To request other accommodations, contact Germantown Library at 240.777.0110.
