DC United got back on track on Friday, March 30 with a 4-1 win over FC Dallas after dropping their first two regular season games.

Veteran F Maicon Santos drew first blood, beating Dallas' keeper Kevin Hartman in the 28th minute Dallas tied the match on a Blas Perez goal late in first half.

United turned up the heat in the second half, quickly outpacing Dallas for three unanswered goals. Rookie Nick DeLeon found the back of the net (60) off of a Santos assist to break the tie. Then DeLeon returned the favor, with a beautiful pass to Danny Cruz for the score (66). Santos used his head and got open for a De Rosario dish for his second goal of the match (73). Hartman earned his money that night with DC recording 17 shots on goal.

On Saturday, April 7 United hosts the Seattle Sounders at RFK Stadium. United defender Brandon McDonald earned a one game suspension for a reckless challenge during the FC Dallas victory and will be out of the lineup.
