Georgetown crushes wounded Villanova squad, 67-46

On Saturday, February 25 four Georgetown players scored in double-digits and the Hoyas clinched their 21st win of the season defeating Villanova, 67-46.

Villanova's junior guard Maalik Wayns returned to the lineup after missing 3 games with a left knee injury and shot 1-for-10 from the floor. Wayns finished with 3 points, 4 assists, and 4 turnovers. The Wildcats shot 28-percent as a team.

Wildcats freshman forward No. 22 JayVaughn Pinkston injured his left ankle in the pregame warm-up and limped around for a few minutes deep in the first half before retiring for the day.

Georgetown senior guard Jason Clark and Otto Porter each scored 15. Senior center Henry Sims finished with 12 points and 6 boards and forward Hollis Thompson added 10 points and 6 rebounds.

Georgetown busted the game wide open in the second half and won by 21 points.
